Underwater spotlights, some are called underwater spotlights, also called underwater lights. As the lighting atmosphere of the swimming pool, we must choose some underwater spotlights, so how to choose underwater spotlights? Green Art company uses more than 10 years of outdoor lighting production experience to tell you how to choose them from three aspects.

1. Waterproof
The underwater spotlight is placed on the bottom of the water, and the waterproof level must be above IP68. Generally, underwater spotlights need to be waterproofed 3 times. 1. The nut should be waterproof once, and it should be placed on the bottom for a long time. The temperature difference between day and night is large, and one cold and one hot water will be sucked into the lamp. 2. The lamp bead lens should be waterproof. Generally, we use potting glue. There are two kinds of potting glue, one is silicone, and the other is PU, which is IP68PU glue. The PU glue can reach the waterproof level of IP68. 3. The glass is waterproof. A waterproof rubber ring should be used between the glass and the lamps. The waterproof rubber ring must be thick silicone.
2. The lamp body should be made of 304 stainless steel
Underwater spotlights are placed on the bottom of the water for a long time, and have high requirements for rust prevention. Some people use aluminum or 201 stainless steel, which will oxidize for a few months at the bottom of the water, 304 stainless steel can be used for more than 2 years without oxidation, and 316 stainless steel is used in the case of the sea.
3. The wire should use rubber wire
The underwater spotlight is placed in the water for a long time, and the wire is soaked in the water. If ordinary PVC wires are used, it is easy to age and harden, especially in cold places, where the temperature is particularly low in winter, and the wires are more easily damaged. The rubber thread cannot harden below minus 40 degrees.
